I found the product to be a good and working as advertised. Yet to delve deeper into the various possibilities it offer. Definitely good for casual viewing. It offers a smooth viewing experience. Thank you Elektroniks India for sending it three times, as the initial delivery attempts failed.

Very satisfied with the product. All apps are working smoothly. The best part is that I can cast the video from my mobile to TV via this streaming box that was not possible with the fire stick within the same price band product.

Was looking for chromecast with Google tv and good processor for upgrading my old non smart tv. As my tv panel was good. There is no official Google TV box in the market . Rocktek GT1 is really good option in India . Very good product provided by electroniksIndia

First thing, same day shipping and delivery to me in Bengaluru. This is a nice touch to use ATS as the shipping parter, and also list the products on Amazon as well.

Coming to the product, to me, it seems to be the Perfect Modular Upgrade, for my custom DIY projector, audio system combo. Have tried, Google TV Streamer, Apple TV 4k, FireTV Max and so on. Finally the GT1, is such a perfect fit for my use case.

Rocktek GT1 First Impressions (Google TV 14 Is a nice addition, but bugs maybe...)

Here is my bare-metal, 5-point breakdown of the Rocktek GT1 after setting it up as the dedicated compute module for my projector and decoupled 5.1 optical audio rig. First impressions? An absolute 5-star execution.

Google TV 14 Fluidity (2GB RAM is Plenty): Don’t let the 2GB RAM spec scare you off. Out of the box, this thing updated straight to Google TV OS 14. Thanks to Android 14’s optimized memory management and low-cognitive-load UI rendering at 1080p, navigation is buttery smooth with zero launcher lag or app-switching stutter.

The S/PDIF Audio Savior: The native Optical (TOSLINK) port is a massive win for hardware decoupling. I can route clean video directly to the display via HDMI while pushing raw 5.1 bitstream audio (Dolby/DTS) straight to the audio rack. It completely eliminates the need for problematic inline HDMI audio extractors, curing all HDCP/CEC handshake headaches.

VPU Picture Enhancement (AiPQ/AISR): On a large projector canvas, compression artifacts from online streaming (Netflix, Prime, Hotstar) are usually heavily magnified.
