I ordered the Anbernic RG Cube XX on Cash on Delivery, and it actually arrived four days earlier than the expected date. I was genuinely surprised when I opened the box — not only did I receive a genuine and authentic console, but it also came pre-installed with the latest version of Anbernic’s OS, ready to play right out of the box.
So far, I’ve only added my own games and haven’t felt the need to install any custom OS, since the default setup is already excellent.
As for the device itself, I’m really happy with it. The square screen is a great choice — it fits most retro console aspect ratios very well, and for those that don’t fit perfectly, the high-resolution display with console-specific overlays adds a nice touch without affecting the experience.
Battery life is about what you’d expect from a handheld like this, and it hasn’t been an issue for me since I usually play for short sessions (around an hour at a time).
The ergonomics are fantastic — the controls feel comfortable and natural, the buttons have a great tactile feel, and the screen looks beautiful with vibrant colors.

It would be really awesome if Electroniks India also offered accessories like protective cases and screen guards for these consoles — I’d definitely be willing to pay extra for official or high-quality ones, since there aren’t many reliable places in India to get Anbernic accessories.

If you are a gamer, you need to have one of these devices and RG40XXV is a very good choice. I have completed Super Mario Bros for the first time and that too after 20 years when I last played it. This reminded me of my good old days. ElectroniksIndia was very prompt in replying to the emails that I sent regarding some doubts that I had before buying it. They shipped it right on time and in a good package. The device was in great condition too. Overall a really good experience. I will definitely buy from them again.
The quality is superb and you can feel it when you start using it.
It comes with one sd card having both OS and games. It works well.
It has 2 sd card slots, I would suggest to use 2 sd cards- 1 with OS and another one with games.
